Natural Granulated Floor Covering is a natural, highly absorbent loft covering designed to make pigeon loft maintenance easier while improving hygiene. Made from porous lava extracted from the subsoil, its unique granulation provides exceptional moisture absorption, with 1 kg of granules capable of absorbing up to 1 litre of water.
By quickly drying dropping as the fall, Natural floor covering helps break the contamination cycle and reduces the development of harmful parasites. It limits the maturation of coccidiosis oocysts and ascarid eggs while also absorbing unpleasant odours, keeping the loft fresher and more comfortable for pigeons.
Ideal for busy fanciers, tis long-lasting product maintains its absorbency for extended periods and can remain in the loft for up to one year when regularly raked. It is completely safe for pigeons, making it especially suitable for young birds, which benefit from a cleaner surface, drier feet and a healthier loft environment.
A 20kg bag of Natural Granulated Floor Covering covers approximately 1.5m2 of loft floor space.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Spread evenly across the loft floor, it can also be placed around nest bowls to absorb moisture and odours, particularly when young birds produce wetter droppings. When removed from the loft, the used granules and droppings can be recycled as an excellent natural fertiliser for gardens.
