- Racing season: Add 5ml to 2-3 litres of clean drinking water daily (2ml per litre). On very hot days, increase water to 5 litres. On race day, provide only clean water.
- Breeding \& Moulting: 102 times per week, add 5ml to 5 litres drinking water (1ml per litre)
- Year-round water hygiene: Once per week, add 5ml to 5 litres of drinking water (1ml per litre).
