Its trusted formula, enhanced with additional essential nutrients, helps prepare and maintain pigeons in to condition throughout the racing season.
Used by successful fanciers from sprint races through to Barcelona, Fortified Calcium Concentrate is the key ingredient in the renowned Golden Boost. When combined with coarse oatmeal, cod liver oil and sugar water, it creates a highly effective conditioning feed that has earned an outstanding reputation over many years.
Please note: Fortified Calcium Concentrate must be mixed with the ingredients below to produce the finished product, Golden Boost.
HOW TO MAKE GOLDEN BOOST:
Dissolve 50g (2 tablespoons) of sugar in 142 ml (1/4 pint) of water and allow to cool.
Place 900g (2lb) of coarse Pinhead Oatmeal or Groats into a mixing bowl.
Add:
- 15g (2 dessert spoons) Fortified Calcium Concentrate
- 15ml (3 teaspoons) Cod Liver Oil
- The cooled sugar solution
Mix thoroughly and leave to stand overnight.
Once dry, the mixture may appear slightly crusty but will crumble easily before feeding.
FEEDING GUIDE:
Feed approximately 10g per pigeon per day.
