Trident Supabeet is a molassed beet pellet made from the fibrous residue left after sugar extraction from sugar beet. The beet pulp is dried, combined with molasses, pelleted and finished with a fine coating of palm oil to create a highly palatable, digestible fibre feed.
Supabeet is particularly useful when you need to make a small feed more appealing or ensure supplements and wormers are readily eaten.
Supabeet must be soaked before feeding.
PERFORMANCE & BENEFITS:
- Highly digestible fibre: Provides a source of slowly released fibre-based energy.
- Highly palatable: Useful for encouraging fussy feeders to eat their supplements or wormers.
- Very low starch: Contains just 0.7% starch, with energy coming primarily from fibre rather than cereals.
- 12.5 MH/kg metabolizable energy: Provides useful energy for horses needing additional condition and stamina.
- Pelleted format: It is not shredded and so stores neatly and allows for accurate dry measurement.
- FEMAS assured: Listed as 4.1.11 in the EU Catalogue of Feed Materials.
SUITABLE FOR:
Trident Supabeet is suitable for horses and ponies that need additional fibre-based energy, including those requiring support with condition and stamina. Its palatability also makes it useful for fussy or shy feeders and for carrying powders, supplements and wormers.
SOAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Supabeet must be soaked before feeding. Trident specifies a minimum soaking time of 24 hours, using 1 litre of water for every 200g of pellets. The dense pellets take considerably longer to absorb water than flaked beet, so they should never be treated as a quick-soaking feed.
COMPOSITION: Dried Sugar Beet fibrous residue with cane molasses, pelleted and coated with a fine palm oil.
